A creative workshop at Ban Preedapirom dedicated to traditional Sangkhalok patterns, one of the most representative artistic elements of Sukhothai's cultural heritage, offered through Travel Thailand Creation. Participants discover the meaning and stories behind the different patterns, many of which are inspired by nature, before personally painting them onto fabric. The designs can be applied to T-shirts, hats, umbrellas and other items, creating a unique piece to take home.
The workshop is led by artisans at Ban Preedapirom in Sukhothai, who share the meaning of Sangkhalok patterns and keep the painting technique in active use.
